Here’s some pretty amazing push up records: the world record for non stop push ups is 10,507 and the record for most push ups done in a minute is 140.  When I told my friend about this his reply was, “I barely can do more than 10 push ups without my arms pooping out on me, and this guy can do a whopping 10,507!!!! I would be happy if I could just get to 25 reps.” Maybe you have a similar dilemma. If you do, read on because today I am going to tell you how you can drastically increase your push up numbers. The method I am going to tell you to use doesn’t involve any expensive equipment or any questionable supplements.  The good thing about push ups is that you can do them everyday without overworking your upper body. Drawing on that bit of knowledge, here is what you can do to make your numbers go through the roof. First write down your goal, and then write down how many push ups you can do today, every morning when you wake up look at these numbers.

Your action plan is to do 1 set up push ups, 3 times a day, 6 days a week. When you are doing your push ups or beating your face (what we called push ups in boot camp) don’t push until you can’t push anymore; always stop 2 less than you feel you can do. So if you feel like you can do 5 stop at 3.  In two weeks test yourself by going all out and doing as many as you can. Most people that I have shown this method added 5 more push ups to their numbers during the first 2 weeks.
